Rave Revitalised

Refreshingly Funny
Seems like everyone these days has their own blog. And with those blogs comes the feeling that their tiny opinions somehow carry a lot of weight in this huge, diverse world. Thats fair enough. We all like to feel important. But lets be honest with ourselves here. Have you ever read anything on those blogs worthy of your attention? Last time you read a record review, how many paragraphs of pointless blabbering about how the bass player from this band used to date the drummer from that other band with the bongo section, and the artwork on this album really showcases the vocalist's recent trip to Bolivia, and has anyone else noticed that that new Slovenian synth pop band have totally ripped off the opening few bars of this band's most famous hit for their new song, and blah blah blah... before you actually got to hear if its any good or not?

Well, enough of this verbal diarrhoea... there are very few things in this life that can't be pared down to a simple question. Did you like it or didn't you? With this, my first foray into the blogging world, I will try to keep my comments to a minimum. There will be no reminiscing about the past movies that failed to make Mickey Rourke the star that he has now rightfully become. No hypothesising about how rock and roll bands can incorporate the tools of the current synth pop revival in order to sound fresh and current. No discussion of how the constant interfering of Lindsay Lohan's mother made it impossible for her to mature into her generation's Marilyn Monroe, hence her latest lacklustre performance. All I'm gonna give you is two words. That's all anyone needs to make up their mind about something.

I'll review movies, music, books, TV shows, recipes, anything I can think of. Also, feel free to send me anything you would like me to review, and I'll do my best to get back to you. My first review will be one of my blog. And here it is:

"Getting started".
